How can we help?
Trizr is made by one person, and every message is read personally. Most questions are answered below — if yours isn't, get in touch.
Questions & answers
Which macOS versions are supported?
Trizr requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later and runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs as a universal binary.
Is my video private? Where does it get processed?
Entirely on your Mac. Trizr runs in Apple's App Sandbox and ships with no network permission at all — it is technically incapable of uploading anything. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no cloud.
The app only ever reads the files you explicitly open. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Which formats can I import and export?
You can import common video files, including modern AV1 and HEVC content. On export, choose MP4 (H.264) for maximum compatibility or MOV (ProRes) for the best quality, at resolutions from 480p up to 4K.
How do I trim or split a clip?
Drag the handles at either end of a clip to trim it, or move the playhead and use the Trim tool to split. Clips can't go below a 0.3 second minimum, and every change can be undone with ⌘Z.
How do I blur a face or some text?
Select the Blur tool and drag a rectangle over the area you want to hide in the preview. The blur region stays attached to the clip and is baked into the final render when you export.
How do I join several clips together?
Add each clip from the Media sidebar — they line up on the timeline in order. Drag to reorder them, and Trizr renders the whole timeline into a single continuous file on export.
How do I export my video?
Click Export in the toolbar, pick your format, resolution and quality, and Trizr shows an estimated file size before rendering. The output is written to a location you choose.
Is Trizr free? How do I get it?
Trizr 1.0 will be available on the Mac App Store — pricing and download will appear there once it's live. Want to know when? Drop us a line and we'll let you know.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email denxvd@gmail.com with a short description and, if you can, the steps to reproduce it plus your macOS version. Feature ideas are genuinely welcome.
