Privacy Policy

The short version: Trizr collects nothing about you, and your footage never leaves your Mac. The long version is below.

Last updated: August 26, 2026 · Applies to: Trizr for macOS

01Overview

Trizr is a video editor that runs entirely on your Mac. It was built to be private by default. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information — every video you open is processed entirely on your device.

02Information we collect

None. Trizr has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. We do not create a profile of you and we have no servers that receive your data. This website counts page views — see section 06.

03Your video & files

The videos you open and the files you export are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere. Under the macOS App Sandbox, Trizr can only read the files you pick yourself in the open dialog, and only write where you point the save dialog — it has no standing access to your folders. Your media stays under your control at all times.

04Network access

Trizr runs inside Apple's App Sandbox. The app holds exactly one networking permission, and it exists for a single purpose: letting Apple's StoreKit framework check your Trizr Pro purchase and process subscriptions. That traffic goes to Apple and carries nothing about you or your footage.

There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no server of ours anywhere in the app. Your videos never leave your Mac. Editing, blurring and exporting all happen locally, and nothing about what you open or export is ever transmitted.

05Third parties

Trizr does not share information with third parties because it does not collect any. The app includes open-source components (such as the dav1d AV1 decoder) that run locally and do not transmit data.

06This website

This site counts page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, does not fingerprint you and does not follow you to other sites. Visits are counted from a hash of the request that is discarded immediately, so we see totals — never a person. Because nothing is stored on your device, no cookie banner is needed, and there is nothing here for you to opt out of.

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or any third-party trackers on this site.

07Your rights in the EU & UK

The data controller for this website is Anton Zinchenko, reachable at denxvd@gmail.com. Page-view counting is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works; the data is aggregated and holds no identifiers, so it cannot be traced back to you.

The Trizr app processes no personal data at all, so in relation to the app there is nothing to access, correct or erase. In relation to this website you may still ask what is held, request correction or erasure, restrict or object to the processing, and ask for your data in portable form. Write to the address above and we will answer within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

08App Store

If you download Trizr from the Mac App Store, Apple may collect purchase and download information under Apple's own privacy policy. That process is handled entirely by Apple; Anton Zinchenko, the developer of Trizr, does not receive your personal details through it.

09Children's privacy

Trizr does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is a general-purpose tool suitable for all ages.

10Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Because the app collects no data, any changes are expected to be minor clarifications.
